What browser are you using? Have you tried using a different one??

I was using IE 7.0 (new to it) but I am able to enter this message using Netscape. I have been using Netscape for about 6-8 years but just recently connected to DSL and Netscape is a little shakey over it. I am trying to get IE up and running. When I enter a userid/password, sometimes both are saved for re-use but other times only the userid is saved. Any sugestions..Thanks..Gary Hardy

I haven't downloaded IE 7 yet, but it could be some type of security setting. That's what it sounds like. You may have the security settings too high.

For IE the editor is a x-scriptlet. Starting IE7+ scriptlets are no longer supported. IE7 still has support, just nog by default. In the security zone settings, allow scriptlets, or preferably, push SE to a more trusted zone and allow scriptlets there.

I set the security down from med-high to medium. This might help the password problems but doesn't do anything for the Red x in the message box which is probably another problem. Thanks..Gary

I enabled x-scriplet and now can enter the message box. Thanks.. I have no idea what a scriplet is and what SE stands for or why x-scriplet was disabled to start with.
