Disable firefox's "connection was reset" page?

Hi.
I get a page saying this all the time:

The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I know exactly why my browser does it. Is there any setting that I can throw to turn it off (and just let the page sit there and spin for ages). I've attempted to read through about:config but there's too many options.

Possibly one of the network*timeouts?

And there are a lot of default settings that you have to enter in about:config yourself to change. (As in they aren't listed.)
