 I've been researching AJAX

That's some cool stuff, there!!

I'm gonna have to buy myself a couple of books and delve deeper into the AJAX world...

Seems pretty straightforward at first.

Jep, cool stuff. And pretty useful, if done right.

And not as new as some might think. It's been called something along "remote scripting" in the good ol' days and done with hidden iframes and other arcane whatchamacallit. 8)

Seems to be. It's just a melding of technologies.

Any book recommendations? I found a few on Amazon, but I'm unsure as to which ones to purchase.

The book Ajax Hacks has been recommended to me. But I havn't looked into yet, so I can't tell.
However, it seems to be suitable for the somewhat advanced reader. Basics like CSS and JavaScript are covered, but in connection with Ajax and not for beginners.

So, maybe it's for you, Monte. 8)
