I am working as an ASP programmer since last 2 years. I find this article is pretty good. CF is really looks elegant. I like ASP as a Programmer. But I like the simplicity and elegant nature of CF in querying data from the database. The author has explained the topic very clearly. Its very interesting.

As a CF programmer of nearly 4 years, it is refreshing to see some ASP programmers start to take CF seriously. I am just learning ASP and rather like some of the features available, but find CF to be much faster in developing apps. I think that more ASP programmers would adapt CF for specific apps if they realized just how much time it actually saved, and how much like Interdev the CF Studio enviroment is (new Interdev has CF support!). CF supports many other technologies, such as XML, WDDX, Corba, COM/DCOM, Java Servlets and integrates very tightly with javascript and DHTML. If you havent yet tried it I highly recommend trying it, after all, the Express version is free.

gpupurs - I agree with your first point, however I disagree with your second point.

The reason that I disagree is that you are making the cpu thrash between context modes, which can be a stumbling block in a high volume site.  Most every ASP Optimization tip says something about batching your response.writes.
