It apparently does not work at all with NN6.01! I think this is an issue that needs to be addressed!

This is OK, but for something with more pizzaz, try using overLIB at
<a href="http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib/">
http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib/</a> which allow you to even use graphics with your tooltip! See some of their examples at <a href="http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib/features.html">http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib/</a> which includes a transparent gif as a tool tip. Very good crossbrowser capabilities, html within the tooltip, options on how it looks, behaves, etc... Ummm... I guess I'm being overenthusiastic, but check it out. One of the best features is that it is free to use. Not trying to knock this article (I enjoyed seeing how it worked), and as a teaching article it's very good, but the look of overLIB just can't (at least for now) be beat.

Good idea. Got it working in IE and NS with one tooltip. Having problems in NS with two tooltips. The second tooltip table is always shown ABOVE the link to the first tooltip. This works in IE.
Any ideas?

I liked this script very much. I write help files and this script worked fine when compiling the html help. However I did have one problem. I was able to get the dhtmllib2 and the interactive tooltips javascript to work in a global javascript file but I never could get the tooltip content (div...) to work unless they were on the page they were being called from. Is there anyway to get them to work in a global file?
