I really like the idea but it seems a bit unstable to use.

A couple of points I would like to add which I think could make it better:

1) Always show the buttons

2) Change the scrolling steps to finer movements

3) When the document is first opened the buttons don't show up, only when I press pagedown or use the windows scrollbar to activate a movement.

Appart from that -great!

Hi,

Does anyone have any ideas on how one can stop the document from scrolling ? Effectively, is it possible to fix the width and height of the document/body at run-time so the document doesn't scroll ?

Any ideas will be most welcome!

Thanks,

Ananta

I think it's perfect for designing sites to be viewed in all monitor resolutions. Thank you!

The resize issue is a  known bug with all DHTML scripts in netscape. There is not much you can do to fix this short of forcing a complete reload of the page everytime the page resizes in Netscape.

This code does not work. All you have to do is resize the window and no matter which button you click and where you were scrolled to, you'll be taken to the top of the page. A big thumbs down for non-functionality.

(results obtained from Netscape Comunicator 4.7)
